Lo hemos probado en el estudio, y funciona. Es tan sencillo como bajarse el plug-in Ar -media para sketchUp y conectar una cámara web. La imagen parpadea porque no he conseguido que la captura de vídeo funcione bien, pero en realidad se ve perfecto.

Creo que siempre es interesante ver en aplicación nuevos materiales y en particular cuando es el caso de uno que no solo es eficiente en cuanto a prestaciones [resistentes, aislantes, estéticas…] sino que va mas allá por las implicaciones que conlleva su ciclo de vida, desde su extracción [siendo la madera el único material realmente sostenible cuando se garantiza la procedencia de bosque de gestión responsable] hasta su reciclaje y destrucción… Este edificio cobra singularidad e interés por varios aspectos como su enclave en un entorno urbano, ser un edificio “en altura” por las limitaciones que impone su sistema constructivo, y combinar en su diseño estuctural la concepción del sistema tradicional “Balloon frame” con la industrialización que ofrece el mercado de la madera, en esta caso laminada…
