Dal 22 al 26 febbraio 2010 sarò a Roma per un workshop presso la sede IED.
Il workshop sará un momento di riflessione, di proposta e soprattutto di azione, sugli spazi pubblici della città abbandonati e dimenticati; in particolare si presterà attenzione agli aspetti della mobilità, della gestione dei residui, dell’ acqua, dell’ energia, dell’ educazione ambientale e delle reti sociali esistenti in loco.

Dedicación: Aproximadamente 4 horas semanales a través de las webs abiertas.
A quién va dirigido: Artistas, Arquitectos, Diseñadores, Fotógrafos… estudiantes o profesionales o cualquier otra persona interesada indiferentemente de su ámbito de trabajo.
El workshop finalizará con una intervención colectiva dentro de una de las exposiciones de la II Bienal de Arquitectura, Arte y Paisaje de Canarias. Coordinando la intervención de los participantes on-line con los estudiantes presenciales de la ETSA – ULPGC.

Se trataba de analizar y llevar a cabo una acción urbana en tres dias en la ciudad de Weimar.

Archigram’s Plug-in City, Constant Nieuwenhuys’ New Babylon and Yona Friedman’s La Ville spatiale rank among the incunabula of the 1960s. Combining visionary architecture, pop culture, art, and situationist rebellion, they became known far beyond the narrow confines of urban planning. Till now, however, there has been no exhibition dealing explicitly with megastructuralists’ vision.

INTRODUCTION: Professional and student architects, urbanists, designers, artists [and related fields], are invited to Barcelona in August 2008 to engage in a collective investigation of the city through the use of advanced digital tools and computer numerically controlled fabrication techniques. The workshop will facilitate collaboration of individuals from a broad applicant base in order to generate new forms of interventions that will be directly deployed and documented within the urban domain of Barcelona.

The aim is to produce the Venice Biennale installation that Guallart Architects (www.guallart.com), IaaC (www.iaac.net) and the Bcn Fab Lab (www.fablab.es), with the collaboration of Bestiario, will present during the Venice Biennale, based on digital fabrication procedures.
