Con este post cerramos la narración de las actividades del proceso participativo Centro Histórico Abierto en el Distrito Central de Honduras después de haber contado los resultados de los talleres con niños, instituciones, ciudadanos y agente activos y los éxitos del taller de acción urbana con los estudiantes universitarios.

Uno de las principales acontecimientos del proceso participativo Centro Histórico Abierto en Distrito Central de Honduras, en el cual se desarrollaron numerosas actividades resumidas en este post anterior; ha sido la realización de un taller con más de 80 estudiantes provenientes de las tres universidades más importantes de la ciudad: Universidad Autónoma de Honduras, UNITEC y la Universidad José Cecilio del Valle.

Next Thursday 23 two of us will be flying to Manama (Al Manāmah, Bahrein) for a workshop, in the context of the Open Ideas Competition Bab Al Bahrain.
The workshop, which is open to both architecture students and general public, will take place around Bab al Bahrain (Gateway of Bahrain) on Friday 24 and Saturday 25. During these two days we will try to approach and visualize the identity of the city from the point of view of the citizens, with the aid of the whatif web and mobile application [Edit 2015: now called local in]. We are looking forward to meet you there!

dreamhamar is Ecosistema Urbano’s latest project and besides collaboratively designing the new Stortorget square in Hamar, aims to generate the conditions for interaction and self-organization between people and their environment.
Two online workshops will allow anyone to be part of an international network of professionals and talented people. The aim is to develop and share ideas about the design of a public space: Stortorget Square in Hamar, Norway.

The objective of the workshop is to analyze the physical challenges and problems of the housing area. Though the problems of the area consist of social, economic and physical aspects, this workshop will only focus on the physical aspects.
The intention of the workshop is not to develop solutions but to define the key problems regarding the physical environment: architecture, outdoor spaces and urban planning.
