Next week Belinda will be sharing our experience around the dreamhamar project at a lecture day in Gjøvik organized by the Norwegian Landscape Architects Association and entitled “Nytt djervt frekt”, which means something like “New bold persistent” in english. Three keywords that describe a certain approach to landscape architecture and urbanism.

There will be two lectures on Friday 23 about dreamhamar:

Dr. Gunter Pauli graduated with a degree in economics from Loyola’s University in Belgium and obtained his masters in business administration from INSEAD in France. He is an entrepreneur and founder of ZERI Foundation (Zero Emissions Research and Initiatives). The Blue Economy is an international community of companies, innovators and scientists, providing open source access to develop, implement and share prosperous business models that strive to improve natural ecosystems and the quality of life for all.

The fourth of EKODesign Conferences organized by Yapı-Endüstri Merkezi, the information centre of the building sector on ecology, sustainability, environment-friendly buildings and practices at the architecture and building sectors shall be held on 14 April 2011, Thursday at YEM Events Hall, Istanbul Turkey.

ecosistema urbano will be lecturing, presenting thir most recent works under the title of URBAN SOCIAL DESIGN as keynote speech.

Turkish and international spokespersons specialized on green buildings and cities shall bring up the award-winning studies on green buildings, the legislation in force and current and striking topics to the agenda of fourth EKODesign Conference organized by Yapı-Endüstri Merkezi – YEM (The Building Information Centre).
The Conference shall, as every year, contribute in creation of a lasting source namely the annex “Yapıda Ekoloji” (Ecology in Building) prepared by the editors of the journal YAPI.
A special workshop named “A Road Map to Design Green Buildings” shall be held for the first time this year on 15 April 2011, Friday for a limited number of professionals of the sector interested in sustainable design and desirous to have their own road maps.

Today December 1^st, Belinda Tato (@belindatato) will be lecturing at Instituto Cervantes of Chicago, presenting ecosistema urbano’s latest works in the context of Madrid’s recent urban transformation. The lecture is within a series that showcases the most recent urban transformation of Spanish cities: Bilbao, Barcelona and Madrid. Other participants have been Ibon Areso, and Eduard Bru.

Tomorrow Thursday 18^th, Belinda Tato and Jaime Eizaguirre will be holding a lecture on ecosistema urbano work at Daz, just before the opening of the exhibition looking through ecosistema urbano eyes, included in the FORMEL_ X architecture series, curated by Kristien Ring.

The exhibition will be open to the public from Nov19th to Jan 16th. The lecture will start at 19.00.

[ecosistema urbano] terrá presso la Triennale di Milano la conferenza conclusiva del ciclo “supefluo/indispensabile”, organizzato dalla Delegazione ANAB Milano, che nel corso di quest’anno ha visto susseguirsi incontri di grande interesse con Studio Albori, TAM Associati ed Emilio Caravatti.
Durante la conferenza presenteremo gli ultimi progetti dello studio e il nostro innovativo approccio al mestiere di architetto, strettamente legato a sperimentali dinamiche di comunciazione.

El próximo martes 10 de noviembre tendrá lugar la segunda BIArch Open Lecture a cargo de Yoshiharu Tsukamoto llamada Architectural Behaviorology y presentada por Dominique Boudet.

Yoshiharu Tsukamoto (Kanagawa, 1965) se graduó como arquitecto en el Tokyo Institute of Technology. En 1992 fundó Atelier Bow-Wow junto con su socia Momoyo Kaijima. Sus intereses abarcan diversos campos, que van desde el diseño arquitectónico hasta la investigación urbana y la creación de obras de arte público. En la práctica han diseñado y construido más de veinte casas, museos públicos y edificios comerciales. Los libros Pet Architecture Guidebook y Made in Tokyo, publicados en 2001, se centran en los estudios de investigación urbana dirigida al proyecto experimental “micro-public-space”, un nuevo concepto de espacio público que ha sido mostrado en todo el mundo en eventos como las bienales de São Paolo, Venecia, Estambul y Liverpool. Además de su trabajo como arquitecto, Yoshiharu Tsukamoto es Profesor Asociado en el Tokyo Institute of Technology, y ha sido conferenciante invitado en la Harvard Graduate School of Design y en la University of California, Los Ángeles.

Dominique Boudet es editor de las revistas francesas de arquitectura Le Moniteur y AMC, y creador de L’Équerre d’Argent, uno de los premios de arquitectura más prestigiosos de Francia. En 2002 creó el European Architects Forum para dar apoyo a la nueva generación de arquitectos emergentes. Además trabaja como consultor, ayudando a clientes privados y públicos a desarrollar estrategias de arquitectura coherentes.

La conferencia se desarrollará en inglés y tendrá lugar en el Auditori de “La Pedrera de Caixa Catalunya” el martes 10 de noviembre a las 20 horas. El aforo es limitado y el acceso es libre. La entrada se efectuará por Paseo de Gracia, 92.
